Watchthedeer Camera Packages

About Us!

WatchTheDeer.com is an exciting development for the outdoor industry. We have combined innovation, technology, and the great outdoors to give our audience a new look at wildlife undisturbed in their natural habitat. Our website features free-roaming wildlife 24 hours a day and offers some of the highest quality images on the Internet.

WatchTheDeer.com began when our creator/owner placed surveillance cameras on his investment property in Southwest Georgia (near Americus, Ga). However, in November of 2004, as he caught an armadillo running across the camera lens, all his plans began to change.

Now WatchTheDeer.com continues to remain a safe haven for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and sportsmen across the globe. Log on and check us out 24 hours a day! Our cameras capture live deer, hogs, turkeys, and more!

The people...Our Family ...

Russell B. Stephens, Advertising Account Executive

Russ is a new salesperson that likes deer hunting and is a great conversationalist (He's a talker then right?). He has been hunting for 26 years with family and friends, most of it in Georgia.  Russ lives in Bethlehem,  Ga with his wife Nicki and 6 year old son Garrett, who also loves to sit in the stand with dad

A US Navy veteran where he was an Air Crewman, Aircraft Mechanic and part of the Auxiliary Security Force. Russ is also a Ga Registered Residential Real Estate Appraiser.

For the 2007 season he took an 8pt, 10pt and a doe.

  Gary Moore "Hunter Emeritus"
Gary is a retired engineer from BellSouth (now AT&T). After hunting (mostly deer) for over forty years he had to retire from hunting due to increased medical and physical deterioration. A couple of years ago Gary found the website and has really enjoyed the opportunity to view wildlife in the field over the years. He says it's like hunting because you never know where or when the wildlife will show up. Since December 2006 Gary has been controlling the cameras for David. When he spots animals on a camera he follows them until they leave the viewing area. The pic to the left is a shot of a nice buck in the early stages of new antler growth that he got on June 14, 2007.

  David M. Ivey

David started a software development company in 1980 named id enterprises, inc. This was after three years of teaching and doing research in exterior ballistics, followed by three more years at Scientific Atlanta in various management/engineering positions. He has degrees in Physics and has published articles in ballistics. id enterprises, inc. writes all kinds of software for a wide variety of clients and applications. Basically, they will make computers do whatever you want, if you pay them enough. Of course the 'id' in id enterprises, inc. stands for idiot.

When David's not strutting, he's usually doing something with equations.

  Benjamin D. Ivey
Benjamin is a junior high student in North Metro Atlanta. He turned 17 on July 6th, and has the teenage holy grail ... i.e. driver's license and a new car (Jeep Compass--black with chrome rims!). He likes sports, riding ATVs, hunting and girls, although not necessary in that order.
